Why We're Called Tama Group
The name comes from a nickname my father carried his whole life — Tama. He was a versatile entrepreneur, a craftsman, and a man who built every business he touched on the same foundation: relationships before transactions, service before self-interest, and work done right the first time. Although he passed away in 2025, the company is named after him and seeks to continue to the legacy of those values in the work that we do.

We bring the operator's perspective to every search — because our founder has spent more than a decade on the other side of the hiring table, building teams, managing P&Ls, and absorbing the cost of recruiting decisions made too quickly. That experience shapes how we work, who we hire for, and how we measure success.

Joseph Bolden
Founder & Principal Recruiter
Joseph founded Tama Group Solutions in 2025 after more than a decade in talent acquisition and operations leadership. His career has taken him across the full spectrum of the hiring equation — from national high-volume recruiting at one of the country's growing behavioral health platforms, to running a multimillion-dollar P&L as an executive director, to managing enterprise workforce strategy that delivered millions in client savings.
